NCO-School Course III has graduated!

NCO-School Course III (year 2014) has graduated with high praises from the Commanding Officer. Course III of the year 2014 was the first course to be trained both reconnaissance and combat leadership.
The graduates have been promoted to the rank of Corporal and assigned to their units as shown below:

Finnish Jaeger Troops Independence Day 2013 ceremony was held on December 6th 2013
The unit has just received the winter m/05 camo clothes and winter paintings to their vehicles.
Several ribbons were awarded in this ceremony:
Instructor ribbon, which was awarded for exemplary service as a training designer or instructor in the unit.
Instructor ribbon was awarded to Finnish Jaeger Troop members:
- CPT Gordon.F
- 1SG Teme
- CPL Astalo
- PVT Nasse
Operation ribbon, which was awarded for players who have successfully completed five (5) operation -games in the Finnish Jaeger Troops.
Operation -games are usually 3-5 weekend games following the same plot throughout the operation.
Operation ribbon was awarded to the following Finnish Jaeger Troops members:
- CPT Gordon.F
- 1SG Teme
- CPL Hinkkiz
- CPL Astalo
- LCPL Jani
- LCPL Zhaska
- PVT Hnd_mn
- PVT Antivirus
In addition to the ribbons, the Unit Command also awarded the following players with the ArmA II Czech Armed Forces DLC:

- CPL Hinkkiz
- CPL Astalo
- LCPL Jani
- PVT Hnd_mn
The DLC was given to these players for their active service in the Finnish Jaeger Troops and their dedication to the goals of the unit.
Congratulations to the recipients!
This year the ceremony was almost the same as the previous years celebrations. Last year the Russian Armed Forces attacked and interrupted our Independence Day ceremony so we had to fight them back, but this year we had the advantage of attacking their peaceful camp on our soil.
Needless to say, the Peacekeepers of the Russian Federation were dealt with severe determination to drive them out of our land.

Today is the annual Finnish Defence Forces Flag Day jubilee.
Finland has celebrated this day since 1942 and it also bears the
birthdate of the Marshal of Finland, Carl Gustaf Emil Mannerheim.

Traditionally promotions, citations and awards have been rendered to the recipients both from the Defence Forces and from the Civilian sector.

Getting ready for holidays!

Finnish Jaeger Troops is getting ready for the upcoming holidays.
The unit will begin their holiday-leaves in a week and spend the whole summer free of duties and/or trainings.
